Hello! I'm Kyla.
I am a Registered Dietitian, a food lover, and a dancer. I believe that nutrition can be a powerful tool to fuel the dancer's body, but that healthy eating doesn't need to be restrictive or stressful.
To me, healthy eating is about nourishing your body so that you can better enjoy your life. Whether this means fueling before classes, eating a recovery meal after a long rehearsal day, or celebrating a successful performance over dessert with your fellow dancers, good nutrition is about finding balance and figuring out what works best for you. Every person is unique and has their own personal nutrition needs. It is my aim to support dancers to find balance in their eating habits, so that they can continue to be passionate in their art form.
I provide in-studio nutrition workshops and one-to-one counselling focusing on the unique needs of the dancer. As a dancer myself, I understand the challenges of long training hours, performance jitters and a culture steeped in the thin-ideal. Whether you are recreational, competitive, pre-professional or professional, I can help to guide and support you in finding balance with food.
